Looking for a teacher part 2

Pai Mei had sat down to meditate and opened one eye, a smile crossed his face but quickly vanished as he resumed his mediation.

Sam calmly looked around the room, she was looking for any other elements she could use except for tea.

Pai Mei tossed the fireball which impacted leaving a burn mark on the stone floor.

Sam calmly looked at the mark before saying the words for a small ignite, the fire appeared but more as a flame.

"Keep at it, it will come to you" Pai Mei said

Sam nodded. "Can I ask a question, Sensai Mei?" she asked politely.

"I don't know can you?" Pei Mai asked

Sam blinked rather surprised at the reply. She decided it might be better not too ask.

Pei Mai then conjured a green crystal in his hands.

Sam looked at it, she stared at it curiously.

The crystal flew out of Pai Mei's hand and enlarged itself to the size of a basketball. It then simply hover in mid air.

Sam was looking at it calmly, she felt it was magical, yet she didn't know why.

"This crystal is one of the most precious things a magic user can possess, it shows the inner most soul of a magic user the more coloured it becomes, the greater and stronger your spirit is "

Sam nodded understanding. "Do I have one, Sensai?" she asked politely.

"All magic users have one, yours however would be different"

Sam blinked. "Mine would be different?" she asked now curious.

"Yours would be golden in colour" Pai Mei responded "Just like Prince's"

"I see." Sam replied. "Two golden crystals." It sounded like she was working something out with the last section.

"The crystals reflect that which lies within" Pai Mei said

Sam nodded listening to him calmly.

A clapping ensued.

"You should listen to him, he's very wise on these things" A voice said.

"What are you doing here?" Pei Mai asked "I told told you never to return"

"I simply couldn't resist seeing your newest apprentice" the voice said.

Pei Mai charged up a spell but was killed by an extremely large lightning strike from the voices direction.

"And now your gone such a pity old man" The man walked out to reveal Thunderbolt "And your apprentice is as worthless as you were old man"

Sam jumped instantly when he died. "Worthless. I am not worthless!" She told him.

Thunderbolt fomred a barrier fo electrical energy around himself and began firing off shots of lightning at Sam.

"Oh yes you are you have one use and that is as our key" Thunderbolt said.

Sam's military training quickly began as she got into cover. She looked for the nearest exit as well, she was however able to keep ahold of the spell book.

Thunderbolt used his lightning to fuse the door shut and the resumed firing at Sam. All the while maintaning his shield.

"Face it you worthless wretch you can't defeat me" Thunderbolt said "You don't have the power"
